Postdoctoral Fellows

We are seeking postdoctoral fellows with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and a strong background in cancer biology, immunology, metabolism, mouse genetics, or computational biology. Projects are available across all four areas of the lab and make use of the genetic and metabolomic technologies we have developed, applied to genetically engineered mouse models and human tissues. Candidates with a record of productive research and an interest in developing an independent research program are encouraged to apply. Graduate Students

Dr. Maddipati is a member of the Cancer Biology and the Genetics, Development and Disease graduate programs. Students are welcome to inquire about rotations, and we are happy to discuss potential projects before you commit. Rotation projects are tailored to a student’s interests and are designed around a defined scientific question. Prospective students should first apply through the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows

We welcome medical students, residents, and clinical fellows interested in gaining research experience in cancer biology. Projects can be structured around a dedicated research year or a longer-term commitment.

Undergraduate and Post-baccalaureate Researchers

We accept a limited number of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate researchers each year. Prior laboratory experience is helpful but not required. Trainees from the lab have gone on to medical school and physician-scientist training programs.
